The belt routes around the idler pulley and moves freely to keep your supercharger operating at full potential. Common failures of the idler pulley include a bearing noise, a bent pulley, or even they can even become locked up from dirt and debris.
If the idler pulley in your vehicle has failed, be sure to replace it to keep your supercharger turning out power at full potential.
