This listing is for one (1) Headpiece to the Staff of Ra prop replica. Any additional item(s) seen in the pictures are sold separately. These are made in high quality metal and completely screen accurate to the originals as seen in the movie with your choice between the Raven Bar or Imam versions which are factory plated in standard polished gold, standard bronze, or our customized antique gold finish. The custom antique gold finish is a little more expensive due to the extra labor where we tone down the reflectiveness of the polished gold finish and add a dark-wash to give that antique feeling and make the details pop. The end result is a finish that perfectly recreates the appearance of the Headpiece as seen on-screen.

The Headpiece to the Staff of Ra was a much sought-after golden/bronze medallion which was originally designed as a means to reveal the location of the Ark of the Covenant. The headpiece was designed to be placed atop the Staff of Ra and used in the Map Room at Tanis to reveal the location of the Well of the Souls, the final resting place of the Ark. The headpiece included a dire warning to not disturb the Ark of the Covenant.

There were a few different versions of this headpiece used in the film. We are now offering both the Raven Bar style and the Imam style headpieces. The Raven Bar version appears first in the scenes where Indiana meets Marion Ravenwood in the Raven Bar and can also be seen later in the Tanis map room. The Imam version appears in the scenes where the old man is translating it and also when Indiana is looking at it with Sallah. Indiana seeks out Marion because he knows she has the headpiece. He needs to get it before the Nazis but is almost too late. Imam was an old man who lived on the outskirts of Cairo in Egypt. It was Imam who revealed the medallion held further instructions on its reverse side, integral to calculating the precise location of the Ark on Tanis' Map Room floor.

Now you can own this piece of movie history! Our Headpiece to the Staff of Ra is cast in metal and gold plated just like the originals. The headpieces are about 3.5 inches (88mm) diameter and about .5 inches (13mm) thick at the widest part. They weight about 6.5-7 oz (185-200g). They also have a slot in the bottom so that it can be placed on the Staff of Ra. See below for a description of the versions and options.

This Limited Collectors Edition includes two authentic Vintage Madeira Topaz Swarovski crystals with your choice between the reflective or transparent styles. These crystals are the same brand and color used on the headpiece in the Lucasfilm archives and have not been in production for many years. These crystals have the vintage 8 facet Art 1100 design. These crystals are a higher quality than the crystals used in the Regular Ra Headpiece. They don't even cut crystals like this anymore so don't miss what could be your last chance to grab the ultimate collectable Headpiece to the Staff of Ra. This version of our headpiece comes with a numbered display card signed certificate of authenticity. There are only 241 Limited Edition Ra Headpieces available. Please note: vintage crystals are old and may show signs of their age. If you do not specify Transparent or Reflective then we will install the standard/unmodified crystals which are reflective.

⛊ The Regular Ra Headpiece - made in high quality metal and completely screen accurate to the originals as seen in the movie with your choice between the Raven Bar or Imam versions factory plated in standard polished gold, standard bronze, or the custom antique gold finish. This is our new and improved Headpiece to the Staff of Ra. It comes with two brand new glass crystals in either a red or amber color and for the amber color you can chose either reflective or transparent crystals. The red crystal is only available in the reflective style. If you are going with this version then the amber crystals are as close as you can get to the original. Both the red and amber crystals have 9 major facets and 6 minor facets. We will continue production of this version for as long as is feasible. If you do not specify Transparent or Reflective then we will install the standard/unmodified crystals which are reflective.
