The bracelet features flat-walled bezel-set hand-carved, dyed red brown yak bone slices in a variety of shapes — squares, rectangles, and spirals. Each of 9 shapes sits on a sterling sterling all-around border, shy of 1/8” and is connected to the next shape by a small stamped rectangle topped joining loops. Ms. Ripley creates a sophisticated bracelet following her always unusual choice of interesting materials which she offers in her wonderful designs. Ms Ripley’s contemporary, very creative, modern use of shapes, textures and materials are a stunning component of her highly sought after jewelry pieces.
