One (1) Black & Gold Hand-Tailored Japanese Smoking Gown from Nippon Nobility
in very good condition.
This smoking gown, from Nippon Nobility, is a vintage piece of clothing from approximately the 1950's era. Nikkatsu Arcade was a major shopping destination at the time- and this gown was hand made for the location in Tokyo, Japan. The black silk base of this gown features golden embroidery in mesmerizing insignias, calling to mind an almost dragon or pheonix-like older Japanese pattern. The coat features a full lapel and side pockets, alongside a silk belt tie. It does not have a size tag, please read on for measurements. Suspected size medium, men's.
This coat is overall in very good condition, but has noticeable discoloration spots on the cuffs, the belt ends, and in one or two other small spots on the back. May be staining.
This coat has no rips, tears, or other damage than already mentioned, and would be an excellent addition to any Nippon Nobility or vintage smoking gown collection.
