6" ROYAL
DOULTON SILHOUETTE HEXAGONAL VASE - HOLBEIN GLAZE.
Offered for sale is this lovely Royal Doulton Silhouette vase with a
countryside scene. I am not familiar with this style of vase but I have been
informed that it has a Holbein glaze.
It is a hexagonal shaped vase standing approx. 6 inches tall, and is
approx. 4.5 inches across from side to side at the widest part.
It is offered for sale in good condition with no chips or cracks, but
there is some age related crazing (see photos). As with a lot of these early
pieces it does have some minor manufacturing defects in the glaze, like little
indentations.
It is fully marked on the base with the Royal Doulton stamp and the model
number D3416.
