Charles Marion Russell (1864-1926), also known as C.M. Russell and "Kid" Russell, created more than 2000 paintings of the Old American West. He was known as the "cowboy artist" and was also a storyteller and author. He was an advocate for Native Americans in his time.
The art itself measures 9.5" tall and 13.5" wide. The paper is about 10.5" x 14.5".

Excellent! Vibrant colors, no folds, bends, or discoloration. One crease at the center top. Paper is pliable and not brittle at all. Appears to have been removed from a book, so the edges are a bit rough. Edges would be covered by frame. See photos.
