Legras Decorated Amberina Footed Tumbler

Beautiful Amberina footed drinking vessel by Legras!  Featuring a beautifully decorated gold vines and leaves, with an applied disc foot on the base.   Shown in the Legras book. Legras, verrier (French Edition) Nelly Fouchet; Jean-François Michel; Marie-Françoise Michel; Dominique Vitrat; Jean Vitrat.

These are frequently misattributed to Rossler, or Bohemian and American makers, but are documented in the wonderful book noted above as produced by Legras.

Slightly over 5" tall, beautifully polished pontil.

Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks repairs, etc., tiny bit of wear to the gold as would be expected for an article 130+ years old.
