Antique Vintage 19th Century German Nickel Silver Art Nouveau Vanity Hand Mirror. This is gorgeous and very old unique Art Nouveau style hand mirror which dates back from the turn of the century. I purchased this mirror about 20 years ago in Vail, Colorado at an antique shop and was told the mirror’s circa was about 1880-1900. The mirror has raised ornate intricate floral design which is a fine example of the Art Nouveau period. This mirror has been cleaned but it still has some tarnish, scratches and discolorations due to its age and the mirror portion has some internal water spots but overall it’s a gorgeous antique mirror and would look lovely on a vanity, dresser or gracing the surface of any piece of furniture. The head is marked “German Silver” and the handle is marked “nickel.”
