Vintage Mid Century (50's or 60's) Geisha Taper Candle Holders (Set of 3).  Approximate dimensions are 9.5" Tall, base is a bit more than 4.25" in diameter, diameter at top is 2.4". This design is an imitation of the work of Satsuma. an ancient Japanese Painter - he was famous for drawing Japanese women figures, the 'Geisha' emphasizes the luxurious clothes that they wore, & the elegance of such ladies, making their guests feel special. This 'Geisha' design is hand painted on crackle porcelain with harmonious pigments & delicate artwork brings out the perfection & splendor of his interpretation. This design has a 'Geisha' lady on each with cherry blossoms & an array of other floral outlined in gold in a multi colored design (Please refer to Photos). Photo 8 had a spot that I did not notice when taking photos, it wiped off easily. In photo 4 you will notice a small indentation in the center candle-holder, other than that, I did not find any flaws in the trio. The bottoms were not completely covered in the crackle medium, the outside edges do not have & in center where opening is, it does not go all the way to the opening on all 3. Bottoms are marked with made in China paper label & 'Satsuma'  stamped within a square. I actually have 4 more listings (various items) that are the same medium - some are listed - others will be soon - there is 2 very fragile COA's (which will be include with the most expensive items). All the items were displayed together on one shelf. Thanks for viewing!
