"Vintage Sacred Heart of Jesus with Doves"

The Source of Graces

This print, entitled "The Source of Graces," is a beautiful symbol of how Christ satisfies the thirsty soul. Doves were often used in Victorian art to depict souls. When Christ's Heart was pierced on the Cross, blood and water flowed out, symbolizing the Eucharist and the forgiveness found in Baptism and the sacrament of Reconciliation. Above the fountain is the Sacred Heart, the interior life of Jesus. This is a restoration of a Victorian French holy card.

– 8.5 x 11" acid-free paper
– Archival pigments (rated to last for generations without fading if kept out of the sun)
– Cardboard backer
– Story of the card
– Enclosed in a tight-fitting, crystal clear bag.

** IMPORTANT ** There is about an inch-and-a-third of white space around the picture, so the image is smaller than the paper.
