The keychain is in a sealed splinter packet with a removable tab at the back to connect the batteries. Please note as they are sealed they have not been tested so due to the age of the product I cannot guarantee whether the batteries are still viable (I have opened and tested a couple and they work fine). Battery compartment easily accessible and takes 3 X Button cell Batteries LR44 / AG13. If you wish I will be happy to test the product to ensure working prior to posting however this will mean removing them from their splinter packs. Please let me know if you would like me to do this.
