Description

Here's a beautiful and very rare, Gibson Custom Shop Historic R0 1960 ReIssue Les Paul Standard with a very beautiful book matched highly figured Maple Flametop and the VOS finish.

We've seen these advertised from $6499.00 to $9174.00 ( depending on the flame in the tops ) so you can save a ton of money on this one.   You just won't find a 1960 Les Paul with a nicer flame top, than this one, especially at this price.

The guitar was made in 2018 and it has been played very little, so it's still in near mint condition with no dents or dings etc.

As you can see, the Gibson Custom Shop sticker is still on the pickguard.

We'll also ship it in a factory Gibson guitar box.

Like all VOS ( Vintage Original Spec ) model Les Pauls, the two nickle pickup covers as well as the bridge, the saddle and the tuners are all aged, to have a true and accurate historic vintage appearance.

Also, most of the flame tops like this are reserved for a 1959 R9 '59 Model and you'll rarely see a 1960 R0 with the flame that this one has.  It may be a hand picked top or MTO / Made To Order guitar.  I have no idea but we'll contact Gibson for more info and update this ad asap.

If you prefer a Custom Shop '60 Les Paul with a 1960 neck profile, this one probably has the best flametop on the planet. Most of the 1958 R8 and 1960 R0 Models have plain tops or very little flame at all.  The guitar weighs just 9.0 pounds on my digital scale, which is very light for any Les Paul.   

The Gibson Custom Shop Lifton Reissue case has a couple of small nicks from being handled.  All of the case candy is included which is the COA / Certificate Of Authenticity, the Custom Shop Warranty Card, Several Custom Shop Hang Tags, the Truss Rod Tool, the Key for the case and the Silica Moisture Absorbing Pack.

Also notice the special switch plate cover / medallion on the back.  The blank ( extra ) black cover is also included, in case you prefer an authentic vintage appearance.
