This is a gorgeous vintage Hermès-Paris scarf designed by Francoise de la Perriere. It features horse "Camails," which is also written on the scarf. Francoise de la Perriere  was one of the best-known Hermès illustrators.

A little info about a camail: The Camail was the distinctive fashion in the knights armor of the late 14th and early 15th century. As opposed to the coif of mail covering the head, the camail was attached to the helmet. As you can see, the camails featured on this scarf were clearly made for horses, as you can see the place where their ears, eyes, and neck would be.

Condition: There are some light stains in the top lefthand corner and some darker stains in the top center. There is also a tiny pinprick in the lefthand center area.

Size: Approx. 35 in. (H) x 35 in. (W)
