We are very excited to introduce these lovely carvings of humpback whales. Cleverly capturing the majestic movement of the humpback whale they are carved in Suar wood and mounted on root wood. The base shapes and sizes will vary.

These lovely sealife carvings are all unique due to the wood used to mount them on. All the animals are beautifully carved and then mounted on natural pieces of wood.  Due to the wood being different for each carving the item you receive will not be identical to that shown but will be equally beautiful. We usually ship these items (where applicable) in two parts for saftey in packaging. The item is attached very easily to the base with a wooden peg that will already be attached to either the animal or the base. There will be a hole in the other piece to join the two together. Simply push the peg into the hole carefully but firmly. Please note that the large turtle comes with fins also unattached and the manta ray with it's tail unattached. All can be easily inserted and glued if desired.

Part of the appeal of this statue is it's handmade nature. It is crafted using a natural product using hand tools in the traditional way.
