This is antique French convent beading. Made circa 1920 or 1930 this is a convent find and would have been worked by the nuns for confirmation or bridal purposes. This piece is worked like a flower and probably based on a delphinium. The beads are opalescent glass beads mainly milk glass and the semi luminescent blue tinted beads as used by Lalique. The wire is galvanised steel. They could be used for wedding bouquets, corsages, cake, headdress or hat decorations or for general craft work. There are 8 available in this size and lots of other shapes and sizes. Please ask for a postage discount if you want more than one.

Perfect for that something old at your wedding.
