Was sind Promos ?
Promos werden vor der normalen Veröffentlichung in Kleinstauflagen für Musikjournaliste, Radio-DJs und ausgewählte Läden für Rezensionen und zum Radioeinsatz gepresst. Auf der Platte oder dem Coversteht in der Regel "For Promotion Only" / "Trade Sample" / "Échantillon gratuit" / "Unverkäufliche Warenprobe ohne Wert" oder ähnliches. Manchmal sind die Cover anders; seltener sind andere Abmischungen enthalten. Speziell bei angesagten Gruppen sind Promos echte Sammlerstücke und erzielen oft hohe Preise. Der hier angebotene Tonträger ist keine ungesetzliche Kopie, sondern von der Plattenfirma hergestellt, was man den Matrixnummern um das Mittelloch zweifelsfrei erkennen kann. What are Promos ?
Promos are issued in small quantities for radio-dj's for advance airplay and music journalists for reviews and for selected stores to promote the release. They often have different booklets/sleeves and seldom different mixes. You usually find "For Promotion Only" / "Trade Sample" / "Échantillon gratuit" / "Unverkäufliche Warenprobe ohne Wert" or similar printed on the LP or/and sleeve. Especially for important groups promos are highly collectable and often reach high prices. The LP / CD offered here is not an illegal copy, but manufactured by the record company, which can be seen beyond doubt by the matrix numbers around the center hole. There aredifferent types of informations such as record number, manufacturer factory or similar.

Wir bewerten alle CDs sehr sorgfältig sowohl akustisch als auch visuell nach den UK RECORD COLLECTOR Standards:
M > MINT : Die CD ist brandneu ohne jegliche Gebrauchsspuren oder Einschränkungen in der Klangqualität. Das Booklet sowie Textblätter, Poster usw. sind ebenfalls in perfekter Qualität.
EX > EXZELLENT : Die CD zeigt nur minimale Abspielspuren und keine Abstriche an der Klangqualität. Ähnliches gilt für das Cover.
VG > VERY GOOD : Man sieht der CD an, daß sie des öfteren abgespielt worden ist; leichte Kratzer und Gebrauchsspuren sind vorhanden. Die Klangqualität ist jedoch einwandfrei. Das Booklet hat Gebrauchsspuren, jedoch keine größeren Schäden.
G > GOOD : Verkaufen wir nur, wenn die CD sehr selten ist. Bitte in der jeweiligen Artikelbeschreibung nachlesen.
+ / - : erlaubt eine noch genauere Bewertung.
CO > CUT-OUT : die Box hat ein kleines Loch oder einen Schnitt
WOC : das Booklet hat einen Stempel oder eine Beschriftung

All CDs
are graded under very bright lighting and played/checked with a highend
CD-player. All photographs are of the actual item for sale and taken at the time
of listing.
GRADING
All items are carefully graded using the UK RECORD COLLECTOR system:
M > MINT : The CD itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The box and any items such as inlay-card, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EX > EXCELLENT : The CD shows few signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG > VERY GOOD : The CD has obviously been played many times, but displays no deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
G > GOOD : We do not to sell CDs that are in less than very good condition, unless they are extremely rare. Please see our individual description for these items.
+ / - : plus and minus allows an even more individual grading
CO > CUT OUT : The box has a tiny hole or cut
WOC : Writing or stamp on booklet
WOL : Writing or stamp on the CD
