6th Feb 2001 - after party of the NME awards.
The gold envelopes held the cards announcing nominees and winners. The ticket is heat sensitive on one side, so as your fingers warm it up it changes from black to reveal the details of the party.
This envelope is signed by Bono and Larry. Bono kindly added a drawing of his Fly alter-ego. I think I was mouth open star struck when I met them because Larry was just laughing at me while I watched Bono do it.
Included with the lot is the pen they used, a Parlophone poker chip, the original contents of the envelope and my photographer pass. The picture of Bono is from the following weeks NME.

Stupidly I was too nervous to speak to The Strokes on the next table. Great night out. Pictures of me at the event are proof, not included in the lot you're buying.
