Hotfix Rhinestones / Studs / Nailheads / Shapes etc are flatback and have adhesive on them which is heat activated. You can use a house hold iron, heat press or a hotfix applicator tool. Great for DIY projects.

The Crystals have green/black/grey glue on the back which melts when heated and sticks to your project. The colour is not visible from the front when stones are stuck down. Most of the other hotfix items have a clear gel like glue which melts fairly quickly to stick down.

The hotfix can be applied to various materials - fabric (cotton, silk, velvet, organza, chiffon, costumes, lycra, lace, jeans, tshirts - any material)
Paper - cardmaking, scrapbooking, papercraft, mixed media, wood, shoes, candles, ceramic cups, tiles and other surfaces

 Instructions for applying Hot fix Crystals
Place material on padded surface. Place Sheet of Baking Paper / Teflon Sheet under the material (or in between layers if working eg on a shirt).
Using a hotfix applicator wand or tweezers lift crystal right side up and place on pattern glue side touching the material.
Hold for 5-10 seconds. Remove heat. The crystals will be glued to your surface. Allow to cool.
You can apply the crystals using your normal household iron as well.
