Headed by Drag City label honcho Rian Murphy, Chestnut Station has its fair share of Chicago indie rock personalities: the singer-songwriter Edith Frost sings backing vocals, Eleventh Dream Day member Rick Rizzo plays guitar, and former Coctails all-rounder Mark Greenberg performs keyboard duties. The band's lo-fi, frantic, garage-R&B sound is ideally suited to its enthusiastic, party-oriented set of covers, which includes a spirited version of Lowell George's "What Do You Want the Girl to Do?"
