**LIGHT BULBS ARE NOT PART OF THE SALE**

For sale is a spectacular pair of 1930s Art Deco style table sconces.

These lighting fixtures are pure art deco in style and form. The main body is a chromed metal with a gold toned floral finial top set on a round turned base.

We have seen this exact pair several times before without the gold finial top but this is the first time we’ve seen this with the added decorative top. It is factory original.

No visible makers marks. Have not removed the green felt base pads to inspect for a maker. The other pairs that we have come across also had an unknown maker designation to them. Possibly Lightolier of Chicago but we are unsure.

These lighting fixtures are wired with the original wire to them. We recommend that the wiring be replaced with modern updated code compliant wiring before use. This is very easily done.

These fixtures take a 12 inch light bulb. These bulbs might be specialty bulbs as the ends of the bulbs are unlike modern lightbulbs. As noted above the lightbulbs are not part of the sale however we will send them to you should you want them in order to find comparable matches. There are sites that do sell vintage or modern reproduction lightbulbs for older lighting fixtures.

We did plug these in but the lights are not working. We believe it is the light bulbs as both appear to have been burnt out long ago.

Condition: Some pitting to the chrome surface. One of the gold top finials with a forward slant to it. Otherwise good as pictured.

Measurements:

Height - 17 1/2”

Base width - 4 5/8”

Note: One fixture appears a little darker in the picture and that is only because it was where we were standing in front of while taking the picture. Both of the silver chrome colored surfaces are exactly the same.
