These were published in 1949, 1950 in The Physical Review ..and are identical to original offprints except that they have Bell System wraps

I would say that they are in new condition.., except for a  really tiny stamp on the cover of each which says DS , and a handwritten " 35 "

 No fraying , creases , stains , foxing ..
