Our CZ108 Traditional Brass sheet has excellent appearance and is good for cold working, fabrication, welding, and soldering.

One face of the brass sheet has a protective film to help reduce scuffs and scratches during handling and working. The plastic film peels away easily to show the actual metal, occasionally there can be scuffs under the plastic film, but we endeavor to ensure this is minimal by handling full size sheets from pallet to film coater as carefully as possible.

Brass is an alloy of Copper and Zinc, the proportion of Zinc in the mix alters the properties of the metal, more Zinc increase the strength while less Zinc makes the Brass more ductile and easier to work.

The ratio if Copper and Zinc also affects the color of Brass, less Zinc produces a redder Brass while more Zinc produces a yellower Brass
