Description:
This listing is for those of you who would like to decorate a room yourself, but would rather start with a ready made framework. This is a listing for an unfinished, 'bare bones' version of my standard diorama structure. Standard dioramas / room wall units are 14" tall, the back wall is 18" across, and the two side walls are 12" deep. The completed wall unit is made of three pieces of 1/8" durable and dense archival book binders board, hinged together with archival tape, to allow the room to fold flat, shown in the third photo. The 12" depth allows the room to be displayed on most collector's shelves, and the 18" width allows for some furniture to set up your scene or display, as you can see in the second photo; none of this furniture or these decorative items are included with this listing - this photo is included only to give you an idea of what you can do with the room.
If you purchase this room in this listing, you will be getting one three-panel wall unit, described above, and a 18" x 12" floor with no paper covering. I do not sell the papers I have purchased for my decorator rooms for these DIY rooms, so you will have the fun of shopping for the perfect paper for the room you envision. The floors fit down between the walls to keep them in the correct position, they finish the room nicely, and if you prefer, you can tape the back of the walls to the floor to form a room box.
Information on the time to make your room wall unit:
All rooms are made to order, after you place your order. I require fifteen days to make the room and get it to the post office; these fifteen days do not include the time your package is in transit in the mail. If you place an order, you are indicating that you understand this, and agree to this waiting time. Since each room is made to order, there are no returns. I do not smoke, but I do have a cat, who might have walked on my work table when I wasn't around, so if you are allergic, use your discretion.
Information on shipping:
I ship via United States Postal Service, and I am happy to combine USPS Priority shipping; three rooms and three floors will fit on one of the specially purchased mailers I use, so this is a great way to cut the 'per room' total price, as the cost to mail three rooms is never triple the cost to mail one. Because I have to purchase the mailers I use, I charge a per package fee of $3.50 for each order. I keep track of how much shipping you pay for combined orders, and if you have over paid by more than $1, that money will be refunded to you via paypal after the package has been sent, and I know the true shipping cost. When you package is mailed, I will enter the tracking number in ebay's system, and they will notify you.
Information on feedback:
I used to leave feedback as soon as my customers paid for their order, but I have found that many people don't bother to leave feedback for me if I have already left it for them; now I wait until my buyer leaves feedback for me. If you have any questions or issues with your room when you get it, please let me know, and I will do everything possible to make it right.

Wonderful flooring options to complete your room ($11.99):
There are three different listings for floor choices: Beautiful Faux 'Wood' floors (17 varieties / grains), Magnificent Faux 'Marble' or 'Granite' floors (24 colors / varieties), and Fabulous Faux 'Stone, Brick, Tile and Vinyl' floors (47 varieties). These listings are for the standard 18" x 12" floor, but you can also choose a 'splayed' floor, for use with the rooms when you prefer a wider front, with corner angles wider than 90 degrees. For the splayed floor, the depth is reduced to 11.5", with the back of the floor 18 wide, and the front 24" across. If you would like the splayed floor, buy the floor listing of your choice, and when you let me know which option number you want, also let me know you want the splayed floor, instead of the regular one.
Choose a second room for the reverse side of your previously purchased diorama room ($28.99):
If you want two rooms, and are certain that you will not want to use both at the same time, this is an option that will save money and storage space. Usually, the back of the room wall units are left with the cardboard exposed. This option allows me to customize the back of the walls you just bought with another wallpaper combination of your choice, from any of my wall unit listings. If you are interested in this option, please buy the standard walls first, then this listing, and don't forget to send me a message with the wallpaper number choice from you first purchase, and the Decorator Look and wall combo number choice to be put on the back of it. This is an upgrade, so the cost of the standard room is $46.99 plus $28.99 for this listing, so you get two room looks for a total of $75.98 plus shipping, instead of $93.98 (the cost of two separate rooms) plus shipping.
"Enlarge" your previously purchased diorama room to 14" tall x 21" across the back x 14" deep ($22.99):
