Up for sale here is this P700 amplifier board rebuild set for a Marantz 2215B (or 2215BL). This is for the model 2215B/2215BL, not the 2215, which is completely different. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Marantz 2215B P700 amplifier board, including the output transistors. If your board has burnt resistors, those are not included and you'll need to get those separately. Over time the amplifier boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again!

This kit includes all 14 capacitors (including the two big ones), all 10 smaller transistors, and all four output transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors.

These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Marantz gear. There's a reason that the professionals use Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, and Wima film caps--they just sound better. Also, frankly, "recapping" is a waste of time if you're not going to replace the transistors as well. A lot of times the transistors age worse than the caps, so you should definitely change out the transistors while you're in there.

I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but this is a fairly complicated repair, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. You will also need a multimeter with mini-grabber leads, a dim-bulb tester, and heat-sink compound. Please see my pictures for details.
