NOTE: Compatible chips unreliable for the 416A or 416X cartridge as HP regularly update the firmware through the internet on these printers which block the aftermarket chips. Simply use a chip off your empty cartridge. Used empty chip is no issue as the included instructions show how to set the HP override to continue printing regardless of what the toner level shows and this genuine chip will never be blocked by HP or expire.
Since the beginning of 2021 HP have started gluing their chips to the cartridge to make it more difficult to change the chip. We now have an easy solution for this. See video below for chip removal for both non glued and glued chip.
