• Rimskins require a minimum flat surface of 8mm around the perimeter of the rim. If you have wheel with old style external wheel weight fitment, it is possible that they will not fit. The suitability of the wheel is the responsibility of the buyer. • Fitted to the outer edge of the wheel, RimskinsTM provide a barrier between the wheel rim and the kerb. RimskinsTM are intended to be a sacrificial product.
• RimskinsTM will cover most gutter rash; however, if your rims are chipped or cracked, they may be dangerous and you should seek the advice of a wheel specialist before fitting RimskinsTM. For rims with existing damage, make sure any rough edges are smoothed or sanded first. The better you prepare your rims, the better RimskinsTM will work.
• Read instructions contained before use. Apply RimskinsTM from the top of the wheel rim and proceed in a clockwise direction, removing the backing strip as you go. Avoid direct contact with tape surface.
• WARNING: RimskinsTM are only designed to protect wheel rims against kerb damage incurred at low speed while parking. RimskinsTM are not designed to protect wheel rims against kerb damage incurred at normal driving speeds.
