CLAUDE BONNEFOND ~ Solid Bronze "CHILDREN" Plaque w/Feet Nodes (#4746) ~ France
Description of item...
Here we have an interesting and uncommon antique art nouveau solid bronze round embossed plaque depicting two children/boys (believed to be by artist Claude Bonnefond) and made by B♚G IMPERIAL of France. It measures approx. 6-1/4" in diameter x 5/8" side high (sits on four small node-feet.) It is in good to very good maintained (displayed/used) condition commensurate with it's age currently showing a minor rim/edge bend and some insignificant scuff/scratch marks here and there...all of which are not offensive. It has not been cleaned or polished since acquired. The front edge is marked, "C.BONNEFOND" and "B♚G IMPERIAL" and "4746." Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown. This item weighs approx. 1/2 lb., add 1 lb. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
