ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Rare Vintage, Panasonic Cobra-Top Boom Box / Ghetto Blaster Model RX-DT75 in Fully Functional Condition (w very some minor issues) and Excellent Cosmetic Condition. Super slick looking boombox with very cool mechanical functions for the top hatch opening/closing and tape deck opening/closing. Six total speakers producing a great sound quality, much better IMO than lots of the box style retro boomboxes out there.

CONDITION DESCRIPTION:

Excellent Near Mint Cosmetic Condition as you can see from the pictures with some minimal surface scuffs and scratches here and there. I was able to test the following functions:

  • Power Button - WORKS
  • Power Light - WORKS
  • Volume Up Button - WORKS
  • Volume Down Button - WORKS
  • CD Open / Close Button and Function - WORKS
  • Top Panel Open / Close Button and Function - WORKS, always works opening the hatch, sometimes doesn't catch when closing top lid, but when it catches it seems to work always. Just need it to catch that first time and it opens and closes over and over.
  • Deck 1 Open / Close - DOES NOT WORK
  • Deck 2 Open / Close - WORKS
  • Deck 1 Tape Functions - UNTESTED. Can't test due to it not opening.
  • Deck 2 Tape Functions including FWD Play, Rev Play, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward - WORKS
  • Deck 1/2 Switch Button - Gives ERROR message, most likely cause no tape or no function in Deck 1
  • Tuner / Band Button - WORKS
  • AM Reception - WORKS
  • FM Reception - WORKS
  • CD Play Button / Function - WORKS
  • CD Pause - WORKS
  • CD Stop - WORKS
  • Tuning / CD Track Fwd Rev / Scan Buttons - WORKS
  • Preset EQ Buttons - WORKS
  • Auto CD Record - UNTESTED
  • Tape Edit - UNTESTED
  • Rec Pause - UNTESTED
  • Timer Button - Says ERROR when pressed, probably just using the function incorrectly or its related to recording which was untested
  • Main Menu Select Button - WORKS
  • Sub Menu Select Button - WORKS
  • Set Button -  WORKS
  • LCD Display with Orange Backlighting - WORKS
  • +/Fwd  Button - WORKS
  • -/Rev Button - WORKS
  • Phones Out - WORKS
  • Aux In - UNTESTED. You will need remote to get this function to work, most likely works, I just don't have the remote
  • Power from Batteries - WORKS
  • Power from Cord - WORKS
