We don't use any trickery / image manipulation. If you can't see the condition well, here's a quick recommendation:
The ebay App cuts down the size and quality worst of all, followed by the mobile site.
Try using the desktop or classic site. It still cuts down the size and reduces the quality but far less than the App and mobile site.
We still have the original pictures on file but unless we email them to you, they still get reduced in size and quality via an ebay message.
Ebay seem to be intent on not giving you the original uncompressed images. No idea why, since they always seem to go on about giving the buyer the best possible buying experience and that's what we try to give the customer, but our hands are tied somewhat. In our original images, we can see the individual code on the back of the discs but as to how well that translates to what you're seeing within ebay...
Note that we only ever crop our photos. We never enhance/retouch them!
