Rainwater Heads

This is an original edition of part 2 of section 1, only. 8th ed. We have other parts of the catalogue listed separately, see our other items. Macfarlanes describe the catalogue overall as 'the standard reference on the subject of cast iron rain water, soil and drain goods and gutters'.

They are 'by special appointment to his majesty's war department'. The latest date I can see on the illustrations is 1932, but many of the designs will have been in reproduction for quite some years. They span Victorian looking designs to art deco.

It's large format, 10 3/4" x 14 3/4" or 27.5cm x 37.5 cm. 39 x illustration packed pages, in black and white, plus index. Half tone illustrations of the rainwater heads, with section drawings and measurements of each.  Condition is very good, see photos.
