Antique Double Glass Rod Towel Rack for Kitchen or Bathroom,
in a Nickel plated frame with two wing screws for mounting onto a
wash table sideboard or chest, from the 1900 to 1920s Founders Era
to Art Déco Era
A rare really good preserved towel rack.
Usually the rack was mounted to "wash table" either onto a marble top
plate or wooden top. Such rods were more likely used in
villas, mansions or hotels,
The side holders are nickel plated (chrome-like).
Of course chrome as we know today did not exist then.
The wing screws still work very good.
The rod would still today look excellent mounted to the side of a modern
bathroom sink table. Can be adapted for wall mounting

The measurements are approx
L 52 x H 6 x D 13 cm;
L 20.5" x H 2.25" x D 5"
