(Petroselinum crispum)
An early maturing variety, the deeply cut and curled leaves have an extra rich flavour. The stems average ten inches long, and the thickly curled leaves make a lovely garnish. It does well in sun or shade and is mature in 70 days.
Parsley has a long and colourful history, being well known in many cultures. Curly leaved parsley is the most well known and commonly available herb; it contains vitamins A and C as well as other valuable antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
