Listing is NOT for all issues -- select and buy the one(s) you want. Don't buy one and think you are getting all -- I will not cancel/refund accidental purchases. I do combine shipping and offer discounts for multiple issues purchased. Just add the issues you want to your eBay cart and everything will be automatically calculated. The more you buy, the more you save! If you are an non-US buyer, combined shipping does not work automatically -- please contact me with the books you want and I can make the proper arrangements.

Please see 'Seller Notes' for details on my collection. I have over 5,000 books from the 70s & 80s and am trying to figure out the best way to list them on eBay. Creating listings by title with issues as a variation seems to be the most efficient, plus allows me to automatically combine shipping and to offer discounts for multiple issues purchased. However, I lose the the option for buyers to make an offer. If there are specific books you would like to make an offer on, send me a message. Please check my eBay feedback to see what other buyers say about the condition of my books and be sure to check out my other listings for combine shipping discounts. Finally, while eBay is configured to not offer returns, if you feel a book has been misrepresented, I will work with you on it.

Important note about shipping: I ship my comics in their sealed Mylar bag (no backing board) sandwiched between two 8.5" x 11" pieces of 1/8" corrugated cardboard placed in a 12" x 9" manila envelope. This should be adequate to protect the comics 99% of the time when shipped first class. You will have the choice to select either first class or economy/media mail shipping. Be advised that economy shipping is just like it sounds -- economy/3rd class and mail isn't treated all that well. Most of the time my packaging should withstand the abuse that 3rd class mail sees, but I can't be held responsible for damage caused by the post office in delivering the package as described. Choose first class shipping for more reliable handling and if you don't like my packing method, please contact me prior to purchase/payment to workout a different arrangement.

Ralph Snart Adventures Vol 1 (Now Comics 1986)
Ralph Snart is a man who has become completely fed up with modern society. After one of the worst days he has ever had, Snart makes a decision to go insane and to create his own adventures in his head. While locked in a padded cell, his “other self” goes on incredibly zany adventures.

In this three issue mini-series, Snart becomes a space-freighter pilot, among other things. When the “other self” realizes that this conjured story is way too dull, he decides to dump his cargo and head straight for the nearest party world. The problem lies in the fact that the cargo is actually a gigantic space alien that wants to have Ralph for lunch. Snart spends the entire story trying to figure out how to defeat the monster, which he ultimately does, making him a hero…in his own mind.

Ralph Snart Adventures Vol 3 (Now Comics 1988)
The crazed, loutish, yet strangely lovable Ralph Snart returned in 1988 for a third comic series. This was to be the longest-running of the Ralph Snart titles, running twenty-six issues in all. Among the highlights were a wacky 3-D special (complete with glasses), and adventures of “Li’l Ralphie”—Snart as a child.

In the Ralph Snart: The Early Years adventures, we get some perspective on just how Ralph got to be the bizarre character of later years. He was the kind of kid who would smash all the jack o’lanterns in the neighborhood, then go to sleep in his monster costume in order to frighten the wits out of his parents. But for a kid with Ralph’s imagination and capacity for getting into trouble, such pranks are just a warm-up. He can’t even go to the beach with his family without discovering subterranean sand-beings who want to capture him. Is it any wonder that his parents are one step short of checking themselves into the loony bin?
