1992 Elvis Presley The Early Years White Rock N Roll DMM LP Russian Disc Records

This is the original 1992 Red label Direct Metal Master pressing of this Elvis LP. This LP was pressed in 1992 at former Soviet Union record company Melodiya. The label though says RD Russian Disc / Русский Диск. A Bit of History: Rock music was illegal for the communist country When the Soviet Union fell the rock music from the decadent west came flooding in. The pressings from Russia surprisingly very good quality, especially if they were mastered in East Germany.
The record has never been played. Unlike records here in the U.S. records were not shrink wrapped. The record is mint. The cover is in VG shape. You will see in the picture that it has a small seam split that is a little less than an inch.The Russians used thin cardboard for there record covers which made them wear faster. The store did write in ink on the bottom right on the back of the LP as seen in the photo.
This is a Direct Metal Master Pressing which is a high quality audio recording similar to an original master recording lP that have been made here in the States.
