If you do not have a simmering pot you can use a crock pot or stovetop. Bring to a boil and reduce to a mild simmer then add some of your packet on simmer. Check occasionally and make sure there is enough water in the pot so it does not burn. Do not overheat.
add vanilla extract, almond extract or apple cider to your water to enhance the scent.
