This powerfully modeled two-thousand plus year-old kneeling female figure displays a vivid expression; nude except for a tight cap and short skirt, she is posed with upraised left arm, hand grasping the side of her head. Her right arm extends straight forward with widespread fingers dramatically extended.

The vent-hole atop her head insured the safe firing of this large, hollow terracotta figure;
her headdress and body are painted with red slip on a buff ground. Manganese dioxide
 deposits provide incontrovertible evidence of prolonged interment.

This museum-grade figure is 10.5" (26.6cm) tall, 6.5" (16.5 cm) wide, and 4.5" (11.4 cm) front-to-back.

Insignificantly restored to excellent condition.
