An original antique map of SUFFOLK by Kitchin and Jefferys. The map was first published in The Small English Atlas in 1749  and again in 1751 and 1785. The map is framed (220x275mm) and mounted. The printed area measures 135x175mm. The map - which is uncommon -  features principal settlements, roads, hills and rivers; gradations of latitude and longitude in the border; a scale; and a compass rose. Notes at the bottom of the map describe the county, and give the markets days, fairs and number of MPs for the main towns. The map is in very good condition.
