Ruth Martin Original Acrylic and Plaster Painting on Canvas Titled 'Compulsion'
Ruth Martins work has been influenced by the rugged landscapes of Northern Scotland, Canada and Southern Spain.
Her works of this size originally were sold for between £800 - £1200.
Amazingly textured plaster and acrylic mixed media piece. I've tried to give a sense of the texture and depth of the surface through the photos but it is very difficult to do it justice!
This is both large and rather heavy - the frame measures approximately 94cm wide by 71cm high.
There appears to be some damage to this work - it looks as though a piece of plaster has come off at some point (see third and fourth photos for close-up).
