The heater is designed to raise the gas temperature (especially CO2) to prevent the reducer from freezing. 

It is particularly useful in the case of high gas consumption, dampness or low ambient temperature. 

It can be used for other gases (such as oxygen, nitrogen or compressed air - with appropriate reductions) or welding gas mixtures.
Power supply plug is included in the set.
