The 556U immobilizer interface module is used when installing remote start products in vehicles equipped with an RF (Radio Frequency) based immobilizer system. This type of system uses a small chip imbedded in the ignition key, called a transponder, to transmit a very low powered RF signal. This signal is picked up through an antenna (or coil) around the ignition switch which is then sent to the immobilizer's transceiver. Once the correct signal is received, the immobilizer will enable the ignition and/or fuel systems. If an attempt is made to start the vehicle and the transceiver does not receive a valid code, the ignition and sometimes the fuel systems are disabled. The immobilizer system will then render the remote start useless. The 556U bypasses the immobilizer system ONLY while the remote start is in use, maintaining the factory system's integrity. When the remote start system is not in use the factory immobilizer remains fully functional.

INSTALLATION:

The 556UW requires an active key from your vehicle to be installed inside the immobilizer interface module. The 556UW is then mounted underneath your vehicle's steering column.

The 556UW immobilizer interface module features the following connections.

6-Pin Harness: Power/Ground/Input Harness

• Red (+)12 Volt Input: connect this wire to a fused source of constant 12 volt
• Blue (-) Status Input: connect this wire to the remote start negative (-) status output
• Pink (+) Ignition Input: connect this wire to the vehicle's true ignition output
• Black (-) Chassis Ground: connect this wire to the vehicle's chassis ground
• Violet (+) Key-Sense Input: connect this wire to the vehicle's positive key-sense output wire
• Green (-) Key-Sense Input: connect this wire to the vehicle's negative key-sense output wire

3-Pin Harness: Antenna harness

• Black and Black/Red Wires: both of these are antenna ring wires
• Black and White Wire: closed input wire

This module is new, contains installation manual, wiring harness and module. We do not provide tech support.

General Shipping Policies

We currently ship to over 180 Countries Worldwide!

We ship directly to buyers. We will ship only to a customer's own private shipping address. We cannot ship to freight forwarders, mail forwarders or any forwarding agent. Packages of high value require a signature upon delivery (in accordance with PayPal & Credit Card processor requirements). Please make sure you are at the ship to address to sign for the package. In order to ship your package we will need to provide the carrier with a working phone number. please send us an updated phone number with your payment details. We usually ship within 1-3 business days of receiving cleared payment. Please note that weekends & holidays are not business days. This processing time is required for all shipments, Express as well as standard.

The carrier will send the package back to us after 3 unsuccessful attempts to deliver; if this happens you will be charged additional shipping charge of double the shipping cost (the cost of shipping back and forth). You cannot choose the carrier and we cannot use the customer's account to ship an item. We cannot reroute a shipment after it has left the warehouse or add special instructions notes for the carrier. Please make sure that someone is available to sign for your package at the ship-to address if it is required. If your package was damaged during transit a claim needs to be filed with the carrier. You must keep the box and all packing material for the carrier to inspect. Please contact us if you have questions.

We can only ship to the address we receive from PayPal. Therefore we cannot ship to any address you give us over the phone, email or eBay message. We will not change the shipping address after payment is made. Returns

We are committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service. If there is any problem with the item please contact us through eBay. We solve all issues.

Before returning an item you must contact us through eBay to obtain a return approval (RMA number) or call us during business hours 10am - 4pm (EST) M-F. If you ship an item back to us without contacting us first, we will have to refuse the package & it will be returned to you. New items can be returned for a money refund or a replacement (it is your choice).

Returned items are reviewed by us upon receiving them and must be sent back to us in exactly the same condition as they were sent to you. All items must be in the exact same condition as we sent them and in original unopened boxes. All internal packing materials, instruction manuals and all additional items and accessories must also be included and in the original condition. Do not make any marking on the manufacturer box, and do not use it as a shipping box - put the items in an additional carton for shipping.

Manufacture defective items (or DOA) must be reported within 4 days of the date of delivery. We will replace the reported items with new ones. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. All returned packages will be charged return shipping.

NOTE: Items that are shipped free, if returned, a refund less our original shipping cost will be given.

Refusing a delivery is not an acceptable way to return it. All returns must be pre-approved. Refused packages will be treated as an unauthorized return and will be charged 10% restocking fee + double the shipping cost (the carrier is charging us for both ways). Make sure we authorized your return.

Restocking fee of 10% for handling and processing will be charge for returning new items that meet the above policies. Any item that does not meet the above conditions is not eligible for a return.
