These monofilaments are characterized by their very low elongation percentage, 16%, and are identified with the red band with the inscription N°1 VERY LOW stretch 16% on the spool. This elongation percentage, lower than that of fluorocarbon (20% - 30%) and approximates to that of the even braided line This means that in tension at the maximum breaking strength these lines stretch about 16%, but under lower loads the elongation will be much lower. This feature will be very popular with fishermen who have to make long casts and require lines that transmit every sensation and allow striking at long distances. Ces monos-fils sont caractérisés par un très faible pourcentage d'allongement, 16%, et portent une bande rouge sur la bobine avec l’inscription N°1 Elasticité TRÈS FAIBLE 16% (N°1 VERY LOW STREACH 16%). Ce pourcentage d’allongement est inférieur à celui du fluorocarbon (20% - 30%), mais se rapproche directement à celui du tressage (environ

Estos monofilamentos tienen la característica de bajo porcentaje de elongación de 16%, llevan una banda roja en la bobina con la inscripción n º 1 MUY BAJO streach 16%. Este porcentaje de elongación, inferior a la de un fluorocarbono se acerca mucho a la de un multi filamento. Todo eso significa que en máxima tracción estos hilos se estiran de un 16% pero, con tracciones inferiores, logicamente se estirarán menos. Esta característica son muy importantes para los pescadores que tienen que lanzar muy lejos y hilos que transmitan las vibraciones y permitan clavar a grande distancia. Estos hilos, de hecho, han puesto un punto final al binomio de poca elasticidad / mucha
