An Antique Islamic Middle East Persian Iranian Silver/Tin plated Copper Vessel with Boteh/Paisley motifs
Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this beautiful antique silver tone copper vessel authentic fixing with lead repair which shows how it was valued in its early time. The vessel comes from a private collection, exact origin and age unknown, believed to date to the 1800's possibly earlier, several photos have been provided and discovered through research. I am not an expert in this type of item and can only offer information that was provided.
CONDITION - The vessel is in fine, antique pre-owned condition! Shows normal age/use wear, I have not cleaned or polished it, original patina.
SIZE - It stands approximately 4 1/2" tall, 5" across top, 4 1/2" across base.
The design is of a repeating floral and boteh/paisley pattern.
The quality is breathtaking. The vessel is very heavy and large and it has been completed with the highest efforts from the maker.
It would make a perfect Christmas present!
