SOME PANELS WAY HAVE SOME SCRATCHES TO THE PAINT COATING, UNFORTUNATELY THEY COME IN TO USE LIKE THIS. THE COATING ON THE PANELS IS TO PROTECT THEM AGAINST OXIDISATION WHILE ON THE SHELF, YOU WILL NEED TO RUB THEM DOWN AND PRIME THEM BEFORE PAINTING.

THE REASON WE ARE MOVING AWAY FROM PRIMED PANELS IS THAT MOST VEHICLE RESTORERS PREFER UNPAINTED PANELS, THIS SAVES THEM TIME AND ENABLES THEM TO PRIME THE PANELS TO THEIR OWN HIGH STANDARD.

BOTH ZINTEC & IRON ZINC MATERIALS ARE EASILY WELDED, WE HAVE BEEN USING THESE MATERIALS FOR OVER 40 YEARS AND FIND THEM TO BE SUITABLE FOR SPOT WELDING AND GAS WELDING.
