Sedum Russian Stonecrop Sedum Kamtschaticum is a semi-evergreen succulent perennial native to the Pacific coast of Russia Kamchatka Peninsula and northern China. Also commonly called Orange Stonecrop. One of the most beautiful varieties. Once established Russian Stonecrop grows low to the ground, and its dense foliage are composed of mounds of glossy, thick, deep-green succulent leaves that turn RED  in fall. The Kamchatka Sedum blooms in summer and fall, and its showy clusters of star-shaped, long-lasting golden-yellow-Orange flowers attract butterflies and bees.

Sedum Summer Glory variety grows and spreads quickly forming thick carpet of attractive, evergreen in mild climates, broad, toothed, dark-green leaves that develop red edges in fall. Sedum Summer Glory blooms from mid summer to early fall, and the clusters of bright, carmine, dark-pink Sedum Spurium flowers are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.

Sedum has tiny seeds which should be mixed with fine sand for an even sowing. Sow Sedum ground cover seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before the last frost is expected or in spring-summer outside.
Pre-moisten the starter mix and sow Sedum seeds on the surface. Press the seed into the moistened soil, and do not cover it. Keep the soil moist at all times, Temperature: 68 - 72F
