Because most coolant pipes are made of hard plastic, it is common for these parts to break over the years after thousands of miles and many years of hot coolant contact. Replace a brittle or cracking coolant pipe to prevent coolant loss and overheating issues. This coolant pipe connects the expansion tank to two hard water pipes and the smaller port on the upper part of the radiator.
Because so many parts in the coolant system is made of this plastic, be sure to check out any other pieces that may also need replaced and have them shipped to your door. This assures that all potential coolant leaks are taken care of at the same time.
