Up for consideration are a lot of 8 assorted original Antique “Lettie Lane introduces Betty Bonnet” series Cut Paper Dolls as published in the Ladies Home Journal Circa magazine from 1910-18 by artist Sheila Young. They were on a page insert in the magazine. The condition is “ AS IS” & AS SHOWN on photos. These are loose not adhered to paper. Some of these cut out paper dolls and outfits are cut and some were cut and then removed from scrapbooks. The backs also contain partial written works and advertisements as well as a random recipe such as “oxtail soup.” You will see some have adhesive remains on back, and some may have black scrapbook page remnants on the backs. Some have tears, missing tabs and on dolls other missing foot etc and there is evidence of staining from age and old glue but some are quite nice. On whole even with the imperfections they are still wonderful. The lot is as pictured. I am not a dealer, expert or collector. I purchased a very large extensive collection of these years ago at an antique show with the intent to use them for decoupage. That never happened and upon reading about them now I see that they are quite collectible & others seek them for scrap for decoupaging as well. Please look closely at photos before purchase as I have tried to get clear pictures of both sides of each for condition. I do not accept returns. I am in the process posting this extensive collection on eBay and you will find others for sale on my page. Please see pictures for full detail and measurements. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I try and represent my items as best I can. All items are from smoke free home and I reuse packing materials for mailing. No international buyers and NO RETURNS! Thank you for looking and happy shopping! I appreciate positive feedback.
