This fascinating 1 Kg Silver coin is dedicated to the ancient Maya site of Uxmal (which would mean "thrice-built" in Mayan), located in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and its highest structure - the Pyramid of the Magician, also known as the Pyramid of the Dwarf. The pyramid stands 38 m high and was built on an elliptical base, an unusual style found in few Mayan pyramids. It is unique among Mayan structures because of its rounded sides, height, and steepness.
