🌐 EASY TO USE ICE CUBE TRAY
The silicone molds ice tray is a super easy use ice ball mold. Just connect the ice molds, inject water through the small holes in top of the ice cube molds, and freeze it. (see listing description for detailed freeze and mold release instructions). Don't completely fill the mold with water. Water expands when it's frozen so filling the mold 90% with water will mean the mold will be 100% full. Non-stick and easy to release from the mold.

Connect the 2 parts of the mold carefully, top & bottom should be lined up properly at the marked seam. 


Fill only about 90% of the mold.


Use pure water. Distilled water. Filtered bottled water Etc.

Boil the water twice. (Boiling removes air bubbles from the liquid, allowing the water molecules to stick together even harder in the freezer).

 > After boiling the first time, allow the water to cool. Then boil again.

 > Keep the cooling water covered to prevent any dust from collecting on the surface.

 > Let the water cool a bit before pouring it in the mold. 

Pour water into the ice cube mold and cover the mold with a plastic wrap, to keep out particles.


High-Temperature – Slow Freezing 

Set your freezer to just below freezing, around 30°F or -1°C. This should be the warmest setting on your freezer. (Not recommended when you have other stuff in the freezer).

Place ice mold on the top shelf.

Leave it to freeze for 24 hours. The slow freeze should force out any gasses and impurities, leaving you with perfectly clear ice cubes.


NOTE

While it is recommended to follow both tips. Each of the 2 tips can work for itself. 

So if you are in a rush making the ice cubes, follow only the second tip. (Still use Distilled water).

And if you need the ice cubes done faster, follow only the first tip, and freeze on lower temperature.


If any of the ice cubes stick to the mold, run cold or lukewarm water (not hot) over the bottom of the mold and the ice should release.
