MIG 1800 MMA

The Ideal Praktik MIG 1800 MMA is a welder that is a versatile device. It allows welding with the following processes: MIG-MAG, MMA, TIG DC LIFT. Another advantage is the possibility of welding with self-protecting wires (FLUX). Wide application from maintenance work to body repairs. Thanks to its flexibility, it can weld different materials. 

After switching on the unit, the voltage and the corresponding welding current can be selected synergistically with the rotary knob. The wire feed speed is automatically adjusted to the set welding current. After the initial setting of these parameters, it is possible to set both the voltage and the welding current manually. Switching between the adjustable parameters is done by pressing the rotary knob.

Wire feed: 2 rolls, with a 0.6/0.8 mm roll for steel wire.  The unit has a fan cooling system and is equipped with overload protection, which significantly increases efficiency and reliability.

Main features:
IGBT - the welding machine uses modern transistors, a solution that ensures minimum electromagnetic interference and low power losses in the basic circuits, increasing the efficiency and reliability of the power source.
FLUX - arc welding with flux core without using a gas cylinder. The wire itself is filled with flux or a chemical that produces shielding gases during welding.
Chassis - The welder can be fitted with a chassis, but can also be used as a mobile welder. Safe use is ensured by rubber stands on the underside of the unit. The chassis is part of the kit and it is a self-assembly kit.
VRD - It's a voltage reduction system designed to switch off the power supply within a few milliseconds after welding is complete. This function is also responsible for reducing the voltage on the coated electrode to a safe level.
HOT START - Function in welding machines which makes the start of welding much easier. At the moment of arc ignition the welding current is increased for a short time. This heats up the material and the electrode in the area of contact and makes it.
Anti Stick - It's the short-circuit protection function. If the welder makes a mistake during welding and the electrode sticks to the material being welded, the welding voltage and current are cut off or reduced to a minimum level.
ARC FORCE  - A function that ensures the best settings for a stable arc and low spatter. In other words, thanks to ARC FORCE, the electric arc required for welding glows uniformly, without short circuits that make it difficult or impossible to join materials.
