DOLL IS MISSING NECKLACE

This is a 1998 porcelain doll from the Edith Head collection by Robert Tonner.
This series highlights celebrities in movie roles, wearing costumes designed by Edith Head.
This one is Lady Lou, based on a character played by Mae West in the movie, "She Done Him Wrong."
She is wearing an exquisite black velvet gown with a satin ruffle along the top and all around the train.
The dress has silver embroidered leaves in the front and back, three rhinestone rosettes along the neck, and rhinestone spaghetti straps.
She has a black feather boa and large hat, and a walking stick or staff with a fancy rhinestone top.
Her shoes are painted on and trimmed with a single rhinestone.
Lady Lou has softly curled, platinum blonde hair.
She is wearing a three-row rhinestone bracelet on each wrist, a rhinestone ring on each hand, rhinestone dangle earrings.
She comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, and her back is hand-numbered (#1828)
and hallmarked with the official Edith Head Collection trademark.

The doll is in excellent, unused condition with her hands and feet covered in the original packaging.
She comes in the original box with the original tag on her wrist, the original brochure with brief biographies of Edith Head and Robert Tonner,
and the original stand that holds the doll underneath the dress.
Looking at the sketch of the doll on the back of the COA it shows doll wearing a necklace, THIS DOLL HAS NO NECKLACE
